I like quality over playability. So that must be why my device keeps showing a RAM icon.

cl_bob "0"
cl_bobup "0"
d_mipcap "0"
d_mipscale "2"
r_waterwarp "0"
crosshair "1"
fov "90"
loadas8bit "1"
m_filter "0"
r_drawviewmodel "0"
r_maxedges "1300"
r_maxsurfs "550"
r_maxparticles "50"

_snd_mixahead "0.15"

bind "UPARROW" "+forward"
bind "DOWNARROW" "+back"
bind "LEFTARROW" "+left"
bind "RIGHTARROW" "+right"
bind "JOY1" "centerview"

bind "AUX3" "+attack"
bind "AUX5" "+jump"
bind "AUX4" "+strafe"
bind "AUX1" "+klook"
bind "AUX2" "togglemenu"

timedemo "demo1.dem"

It now works well when I changed the MIPSCALE setting, and a few others...
I get 5.8 FPS with this config. But that's because ( I think) the PQ.exe file is running off my MicroDrive, which is probably draining my battery too. I'll change that.Last modification: Moose Master - 06/01/01 at 12:00:40

I'll have a go with your config after dinner tonight.

As for playing off the MD, that would only affect the game as elements are cached or loaded for the first time. I actually find PQ to be the best battery saving game out there, as once it's got everything cached, it's all running from RAM at that point.
