Image<br><br>Okay, I actually found version 3 of this mod, and boy, am I glad I did. This version contains a 3 level single player mode which plays very close to your typical GoldenEye/Perfect Dark type of FPS (mission/goal based). The weapons are all Counter-Strike favorites, and the Hand model is fantabulous. It's got the fingerless black gloves on, in full CS glory :) The MP5 reload is also damn near identical.<br><br>Anyhow, I'm not releasing this pak just yet, I can't find a sound file called weapons/shellhit3.wav. If any of you have this, can you please post it someplace for me to download? Once I get that sound, I'll toss it in the Pak and upload it for distro.<br><br>BTW- this mod is severly Memory intensive. I had to nix a few applications to free up 12megs of programRAM. And yes, it requires 12 whole megs to run this mod.<br><br>Another thing to mention is the PAK file is 20 megs, however only 7 when Gzipped. Here is the caveat, it takes about 2 minutes to load a gzipped game/map. People with lots of storage space might want to keep this one ungzipped. I also recommend leaving your pak0.pak file ungzipped as well, for having both gzipped ups your load time in the area of 5 minutes!<br><br>Last modification: 999 - 06/09/01 at 11:55:26

Sweet. Does it work with custom maps? I'd like to modify Museum to have a goal-based SinglePlayer game.<br><br>I just noticed you are using the custom GFX.WAD .

I'm not sure about custom maps. If there's a way to hack one of the included ones and figure out how it works, then I guess it's pheasible to do that.<br><br>Anyone have that blasted sound file? shellhit3.wav...<br><br>Oh and yea, I have that custom wad file installed. I forgot about it, I threw it in one of my pak files and just got used to seeing the difference ;)<br><br>

Hey Chuck, I've got a Modpak for you, it should fit on a naked PPC as well. :)<br><br>I'll have it done in a couple hours or sooner.<br><br>All I can say is I think I've seen the QuakeGuy do everything now ;)<br><br>

Argghh, I need to cleanup that freaking CalcGradient fixed point conversion I did a while back. That is the reason the gun/player models look transparent, etc.<br><br>Dan East

I guess you can just make a null sound for shellhit3.wav... basically it would just be silence.<br><br>Better yet, extract a sound from Quake that sounds similar, and rename it shellhit3.wav

Dan, about the calcgradient thingie... does that have anything to do with brush entities suddenly becoming transparent?<br><br>Things like func_wall, func_illusionary, func_button all become transparent when viewed at a certain angle.
