Won't play on my hp Jornada 720!!!

Hi<br>I can't play Pocket quake on my hp 720! i have the pak and the exe - SH3 and files but when i click the exe is says:<br>"Pocket Quake" is not a valid windows CE application<br><br>can any1 help plz??<br>thanx a lot!!

Pocket Quake only runs on Pocket PC (Windows CE 3.0) devices, to which category your device does not belong. Sorry!<br><br>Dfan East

It's for the HP Jornada PocketPCs, like Dan said. Such as the 545 or 525.

Yet another person with a H/PC! Thsi proves that we do exist!<br>OK, what would be involved in a H/PC build, and how are .exe of the same CPU different for P/PC and H/PC?<br>Just wondering...

Different OSes use different routines for direct hardware access. The H/PCs also don't have a GAPI routine, atleast not one that works well enough for Quake. Other than that it would just take time for Dan East to do it. I'd try, but since i don't have a HPC I don't care at all.

It would take a person with coding skill and an HPC to debug on. Without the actual device, you'd be shootin' in the dark.<br><br>SO... since you HPC people seem to be such a tight-knit group, you have to know someone who is up to the task.
