<br><br>Now, I'd be interested how much quality you've sacrificed for a speed trade-off. I included an autoexec with an older release of Dan's PQ that everyone complained about because of the loss of quality (yet ironically noone bothered to comment on the fps increase). I wonder how similar the two are now, especially since we all are going for speed over gfx.<br><br>==<br><br>In my tests, the FOV really made a big difference in speed, as does the window size. If you go down a few notches, and keep an FOV of 60-70, you will seriously see a major increase. Mipcap at 3 sounds good, 4 would be overkill. Also, my surfs etc are that high so you can still play id maps. I always plan to make my cfg the default iPAQ cfg, but keep forgetting to tell Dan

Anyhow, if they go lower, you'll see a lot of walls dropping out in the base maps. I suppose for custom maps, your numbers are right on the money.<br><br>
