Status of "QuakeOn"

Did we give up on this? It would help people new to quake alot. And just for the convenience factor I think its worth it.

Yea, the -game parameter works for every version now, wasn't that what was holding it up?

yeah, he told us he was going to stay way from the forums for some time, So I think we will not see updates until July or maybe August... IMO.

i'll be back on from next week - i just this minute redesigned the page but my desktop modems bust (lucky i have my ppc)

the other problem with quakeon was that i can only make vb progs at the moment so it'll have to be in .vb form with all the big runtime files and stuff

can someone post a list of all the mods and maps? it seems i've fallen behind ;)

I wouldn't worry about the runtimes they aren't too bad, its like 200k, so with your prog i'm estimating maybe 500k AT THE MOST. and hers a kind of not really complete list of new stuff

MyHouse - My new map, i think PMatrix is hosting
PskQ - Pocket Skateboard Quake, w00t!
hack and slash - an rpg type game, cool looking
ctf - ummm let me think, Capture the flag
Sub.bsp - beta of new 'DEIGO' map hehehe
Minion - weird chess like game, haven't tested it
dmloadzone - new map from randall, pretty cool

not sure but that might be it. and most of it came out like within the last week, of when dan released the fix .062 cause now we can use -game command line stuff :)

BTW, I noted that the pic of PQomplex in your site is from a map from randall or fcorp, I think. Not from my map. If you want I can send the screenshots of PQomplex again to you. Just let me know. :)
