This should be plain and clear. Come on, are you just stupid. The answer is more than on a bad pocketquake unoptimised map (unless the creater got lucky). Now, if the god of Quake decides to intervine, then the posibilities are endless. Well, actually there is only 3. Less==Equall==More, unless you get into the forth demention. Now, if you were to enter this line of code into Quake
---------------------------------
fps = (float)(fps/0);
---------------------------------
Then you will have more frames then you know what to do with. I'll tell you what, as soon as you crack into win ce 3.0 and figure out how to devide my memory by 0, I'll enter that line into Quake, and all you will see is an error message, err. a really fast game. Yeah, that's it, it will run so fast that ce will think it is an endless loop, and upgrade itself to stop those things, but only for Quake. So, when you want good fish, come to Joe's fish market. Hopes that answers your question on how much would could a woodchuck chuck if he was at Joe's fish's market, the best place for fish.

(BTW, don't you just love rambling when it comes to answering stupid questions?)

Do I ever. And we are talking FRESH! When I brought them in this morning, they will still jumping. And not like twiches that dead salmon make, I'm talking 3, 4 foot bounces. If I didn't know better, I'd say they were wearing nike air shoes or something. And even better than the freshness is the price. Now on sale, $1 a pound. And I don't need to tell you what kind of bargin this is. You look like a man who really knows his fish too!. So stop on by to Joe's Fish Market.

(You know what would suck, if Blade checked the box to have an email sent to him for every responce.)

All prices do not include the .000001% sales tax. Just remeber, if you devide your bank statement by zero, you can buy all of the fish you want!

You want some cool frames, check out the frames at Joe's Fish Market. By have all of the name brand sunglasses avalible. In responce to Blades question, I guess that the most you would probably have depends on what the enemies are waring, and if there is a display of glasses lying around somewhere. But, what do the number of sun glasses have to do with a map being a good optimized pocketquake map. I guess the less frames, the less pollies, so, I guess ZERO! Sun glasses are nice (expecially the ones from Joe's Fish Market), but really don't have much of a place in Quake. Except for looks, and the glasses at Joe's Fish Market look GREAT!

The equation is simple:

number of possible places you can be in the map x number of possible directions you can look

The first part depends on the map; lets assume it's 10 000. The second would be 360x360 or 129600.

so it is
10 000 x 129600 = 1 296 000 000

thats 1 296 000 000 frames :)

Dont forget to divide it by the time you're playing. Let's say you play 10 minutes. That would be:
10*60=600
1,296,000,000/600= 2,160,000
=2,160,000 fps ImageImageImageImageImage

Guys, you only gave half teh answer. What about the 4th dimension. lets att another 360 into the equation. So 360 * 360 * 360 = 46656000

Then 10,000 * 46,656,000 = 466,560,000,000

But since we are playing for 10 minutes,
466,560,000,000 / 600 = 777,600,000 fps
Didn't you wonder why your fps was so low ;). But to answer his question completely, I asume it all depends on the map size. Come on guys, we are here to help, not give half @$$ed answers.

(I love answering questions with an answer that only leads people to ask another question. AKA what map size is a good one for a good pocketquake optimised sp map?)

Rob, are you familiar with the display rate theory of relativity? If you get the frames going fast enough, to where they approach the speed of light, you actually become the frame. (Or is it you become the computer program?)
Then you don't really care how many fps you're getting. You have more interesting things to deal with.
