If you'd tell us what the error message says I'm sure we could more easily diagnose your problem, and thus more efficiently solve it for you. <br><br>

Ok, I know what it is!!!  You got a fatel application error, presumably because Quake thought that it had enough memory, but it really didn't and when you went to start that new game, it ran out.  Or maybe, just maybe, you have a currupt pak0.pak file or even a currupt PQ.exe file.  Or, maybe you don't have the Pak0.pak file, and when you said you started a new game, you really just opened the program and got a gfx.wad error.  These are just guesses.  More info could be helpful, and I hope one of these helps you.

He probably tried to divide his memory by 0 in order to have enough. You should stop telling people that, Rob. <grin>

yeah he gave something of a message like it must be between 0 and 26 but it's 0. i should install it again and look what the problem was. the demo runs fine. i should get and cf sleeve so i can use my microdrive from my e-125 on it.
