the best? well I guess its all personal opinion. The newest quake is quake3, so some might say that is the best.

Red Faction is about to come out, and it will be the best instantly. Half-Life is old, but most everyone still plays it. Unreal Tournament is slightly better than Quake3, it's got smarter bots, more levels, and a bigger community.

Well, you've got ports of all the famous 2D FPS, like Doom, Heretic, Hexen. Take your pick. Whichever you think is your favorite.

How can you think UT is a better game Quake3 has many more mods way better graphics, and much better game play. UT just gets kind of boring after a while.
