Stupid Question

How do you load a mod in PQ i use to freakin know bbut it slipped my mind! i read the console commands and found a command line param and made a shortcut that was "\Quake\Quake.exe" -game obots, and it didn't work. is there a console command to do it?

No, Quake has to load the mod when it first starts up, so you can't do it from the console. In addition to the command line parameter you can modify the pak files directly. Perhaps someone else can shed some more light on that technique, because I don't exactly know what was being done.<br><br>Dan East

O wow it goes \quake\id1\obots, i had it in quake\obots.

I guess the the question is what should my shortcut look like exactly like where do the quotes go and all?

No, you're right. Your custom game dir goes in \quake\obots. No quotes should be needed unless the path to Pocket Quake contains spaces.<br><br>Dan East

Ok herer it is my shortcut contains  \Quake\Pocketquake.exe -game obots and the shortcut does not wok nor does it have the pq icon. So what am i doing wrong here? Btw i am using a program called pocketshortcut if that even makes a diffrence.
