How do I know which buttons are what on E-125?

How do I know which buttons are what on E-125?

Postby grrickar » Oct 3, 2001 @ 10:47am

I have a Casio E-125 and I see the commands in the autoexec.cfg file that map commands to buttons, but so far I have only managed to map a few through trial and error. Isn't there a better way? I would think someone has this already figured out, and there is a template somewhere that reads: menu button on E-125 is AUX3, etc. Is there one?

Rainman

I don't know if anyone has created a list of what the button ids are for the various devices. The easiest way to tell what they map to is to hide / move your autoexec.cfg and config.cfg files, then run Quake. When you press the various buttons Quake will report the button ID and that it is unmapped.
The only "special" button for the MIPS devices is AUX2. You should bind AUX2 to the togglemenu command, otherwise you will not be able to exit out of the menu once you switch to landscape mode.

Dan East
