How do I create a directory?

I can't figure out how to make a directory.  And is a directory a folder? And if it is, how come I can't put a "/" in the title to make the game folder.  Could someone please help me.

go into explorer, navigate to where you want it to be and click 'edit' in the bottom left corner then 'new folder'

But the program won't let me put any slashes in.  What do I do?

oh i see what you mean. no you dont actually put the slashes in. thats just used by the system.<br><br>just go to the root folder "My Device" then make a new folder simply called "Quake" and one inside it called "id1" then follow the instructions in the readme file.
