Problems with Quake on hp 568

Problems with Quake on hp 568

Postby djv72 » Oct 3, 2001 @ 5:18pm

has anybody installed Quake on a 568. I followed the install instructions but, quake would NOT run. I don't get any error messages!!! Just a cursor, looking like it is doing something but, nothing happens.

right, if you're using a 568, get the ARM version - hp has switched processors in the latest line of jornadas.

I did install the "Arm" processor version and gx.dll is located in the windows directory.

Ok, I managed to get quake up and running. The only problem that I am having now is, when I click on the menu button, I get the options to select single player, multiple player, etc. But, I am unable to select any of these. The whole time the demo is playing in the background.

Any suggestions???

You need to press the action button. I don't know where it is on the 2002 devices, but you either press straight in on the D-Pad on the front of the unit, or press in on the up / down wheel on the left side of the device.

Dan East
