In keeping with the anti-dungeon sentiment, remember that those flickering torches drive r_speeds through the roof.  Stargate is a good idea--there's a very good Stargate map for Team Fortress Classic (and also one for HL deathmatch, I think) out there, look for it on fileplanet or here:
