Postby playa2010 » Oct 25, 2001 @ 11:43pm

(using mono version) I'm sure this has already been adressed ,but how do i fix the error of PocketQuake.exe cannont be found and Pak file does not exist when using PQL. I have the PAK file in the correct directory and the PocketQuake.exe file is in my Windows..games file. Quake runs perfectly if i click on the pocketquake.exe file " the little picture"

The problem is that PocketQuake.exe cannot be found by PQL. By default, it checks "/Quake/PocketQuake.exe". This setting is in the options screen. For your setup, you should enter; "/windows/start menu/Games/PocketQuake.exe"<br><br>Use the pak box in the same way as you would the '-game' command on PC Quake.<br><br>I am now working on an update which will address these issues with .exe searching, and pak searhing. It will also save settings to a file before exiting.

if you plan to simply use the single player quake, then you do not need this program, it is to play mods(custom games for quake) not to play off your storage card.
