thats way to much darker than the real thing, its almost the same though, but i think the panels and the walls are more metallic than they are in that pict.

i just made my first texture, :) hehe its neato, its called bolted vent, i'm posting it on my site now. i can do this stuff its not to complicated.

Thanks for the support Chuck and randall!<br>1- Yes, It´s a lot of job in a so small time. I worked nonstop for 4h other day...<br>2-Chuck, the textures in the Q2 complex map arent right. I thought of using different textures from the original map. If you think the textures need work I will look into it tomorrow.<br>3- The  duct can´t be done becouse it´s not possible to, ah, how can I say this in english, ah, well, it´s not possible to enter in a small place in Q1. Know what I mean?<br>3- I know that there is a hole in the water. I decided to let it there so you could have a nice big room to fight with missiles. ;D<br>4- I will use the same gun config to add the ammoboxes, etc. I will put a rocket launcher on the map too.<br><br>If I missed something, please let me know...<br><br>Thanks,<br>Diego Cueva <br>

well, have you played randalls map, it doesn't look like its big enough, but u can walk through his duct, use those textures to make a duct for this level, or hey take my texture and it'll just look like the vent is shut :)

no actually, it ran quite well, i believe its because of the low number of textures, even when u add in it all i believe it'll run pretty fast. The textures look fine, but u need more textures on the walls, and maybe some lighting around corners to give the corners a more distinct apperance. Use some metal walls for the central rooms, and da da da, u know. CHECK OUT MY DArN TEXTURE, i spent like 20 minutes on it:)

its already a texture, just i dunno, its a quake 1 texture. i know nothin about worldcraft, just that i made that, and its a texture. :)

Lesse, if you download Adquedit from my site you can put the texture into a WAD. Then it will be usable in Worldcraft. Alot of work for a single texture though.<br><br>Wally is pretty damn easy to use, huh Chuck? It's especially effective on Quake textures since the palette is so limited (and butt-ass ugly).<br><br>Wally isn't quite so effective for games with more color depth like like Half-life and Sin. They typically end up looking like cheesy Quake textures.

Paul, open areas may slow down the map. Lots of polygons will do it too. You should make a map with no holes to use VIS. It will optimize your map (discussed here before). I dont think atmospheric light slow down the map. I used in my map and got no problems. <br><br>Today, I will play with light intensity to get a good amount of light on the map<br>Now, I need help, did I send the map with the shadows/entity lights to you people? Ok, I think the map is almost done. I have two questions for you all:<br>-I changed some textures today, but should I really change the wall textures for something more ah, "grey"?<br>-What kinds of guns should I put in the map?
