Does it run on th Jornada 710?

Hi there<br><br>Does PocketQuake run on the Jornada 720 AND 710?<br>I downloaded and installed the Jornada 720 version<br>several times, but it wont run on my 710.<br><br>When I run it, I get a message saying "Starting Quake" <br>After 10 seconds I get a "Pocket Quake" window.<br>When I close it I get the GAPI nag-screen.<br>I click 'OK', and then the screen goes all white,<br>and stays that way. I do have the Pak0.pak.gz istalled, as per Dans instructions on the webpage.<br>What am I doing wrong?<br>Please help.<br><br>Regards<br>Rene Lindsay<br>

Ok, here is what I believe to be the problem.  The 720 props are.<br><br>HP, Jornada 720, USEnglish and some other stuff.<br><br>The HPC GAPI checks for these critaria (and possibly some other stuff) before it allows the program to get the pointer to the video memory.  Since you have a 710, the check does not complete.  I would write to Lary, and ask him to add the 710 into his GAPI library, and then I will compile a new version.  This also explains why the German version does not work.
