Hmm. You should be able to extract more info than that. Since it can read the central dir, it should report all the files the zip contained (whether or not their data is intact). I would say it is certain that the first part of the EXE came through, so a quick check of its PE file header would show what platform and OS the image is for. Etc.<br><br>Dan East

I'm sure there are apps out there that can provide more info on damaged zips, including extracting truncated files, but I don't know of any specifically. You can send me the zip if you like, and I can use my Zip source to extract the information. <br><br>Dan East
