i dunno, I never saw anything on coding CGI on astalavita or the .BOX version either.

Or maybe I should use Java Instead

But...
I've realized that this is never going to work, as it still access the web site, even thoguh it is in a frame, so I suppose I might as well continue to worktrying to find a way to change the ISP of the terminal as to get past the filter

wait a mo, how would proxies help me attain my ultimate goal of getting past the filter? I must admit that I'm new to proxies, as I spend most of my time just making web sites... :-|

A proxy is used to filter out websites, etc. There's a public proxy for PPC users you can connect to that gets rid of all graphics on websites.

It wouldn't work. You'd be trying to unfilter a filtered website that became filtered before it even got to you. You'll have to find some outside line that doesn't send data through the proxy, such as the phone lines, possibly. This is more of a real world problem, not a computer problem. You'd have to get set up a hardline not connected to the proxy in the first place, or atleast code in access or find out the proxy's password (which I wouldn't use much, since they probably flag every password usage and would change it when unauthorized access was discovered).

Hmm, I have IEAK, and an authorisation code, could I make a version of IEAK and set my ISP a into it, so it connects using a different phone number.

but... because of the way the network is, as in the terminal is pernamently connected using a LAN and ISDN 64. So you essentailly could not change the ISP as its defined by the server, rather than the terminal.

So basically theres no way past the RM IFL SaftyNet without breaking into school, going into the Server room, logging on, and changing a setting that would be noticed the day we go back.

I'm gonna send an e-mail to RM and ask how to get past, gee, they're sooo nice, they didn't even notice the death threat on the bottom on the last E-mail I got a reply to.
