I found something useful on it:<br><br>It talks about how they want to use it to shield fighter jets to hide them from radar and protect them from shockwaves produced from faster than sound travel.

hmm... i think it was in nasa's concept part of the website, where they discuss warp drives, anti gravity and plasma shields.

I think there's a lot of "concepts" they come up with and then put in the back burner until somebody else figures a way to make it all work. But that's how science progresses.
