Jaybot, yor're wrong. There was a time when soccer was a national passtime, but now it's not. I particularly detest it, and most of my family and friends doesn't have a care for it either. With the way our national team is playing lately, it will get only worse.

Unhappily Jay, those nuts you describe still abound. They're just animals that walk on two feet and start riots when their punny teams loose. That's the principle reason that made me hate soccer I guess. These morons just can't go to the stadium and have a peaceful and good time. It's the same problem that the british had with the so called hooligans some years ago. I guess every country has some of that.<br>But generally speaking, soccer is fading a little here in Brazil. The violence, bad matches and pityfull achievements of our national team are responsible for that. Some 30 yeras ago when we truelly ruled the fields, everybody liked it, more then you americans like football or baseball. Now a days it's starting to take a back seat to volley and basketball and other sports. Tennis is lately the biggeste fever around here. Let's see in some years from now how everything comes out.
