Um. yeah.

Here's the thing: if your site doesn't have anything to say, all the flash in the world isn't going to help it any. It would be nice if you focused more on design, rather than trying to show off a mediocre skill.

And flash intros suck.

Have Eike show you how it's done. He focuses on design elements - shape, color, proportion...

True, It is a little bad. I mean, I really need to brush up on my AS.

I've only been using Flash for 1 1/2 months now. I'll probably get better.

And is a dual-boot Win98/Win2K ok? I'd like to know before I go out and get the OS.

Why would you need Win2K?

Yes, dualbooting win2k and win98 is quite okay. Just make sure you have installed win98 first because win98 isn't very friendly to other OSes at install (it overwrites the MBR).
But then why not just leave win98 and go over to Win2k totally. W2k is a lot more stable and a much better OS than win98 IMHO ;)

Playing games is a bitch on Win2k though. At least on my computer.

Windows2000 is not for everyday use by an amateur computer user. I built my own computer, so I thought I'd buy W2k with the 75% off OEM deal. I got it, dual booted it and Win2k. Windows2000 is so much slower than WinME and 98 that for games it wasn't worth it. And stability? My system doesn't fataly crash that often that I have to hard reset. Windows2000 is if you need your system to run all the time, like a server machine. It's not faster, and if you don't have it running all the time it's no more stable than WinME. Stick to the 9x series, Win2k is too complicated for everyday useage. You have to set up permissions, users, groups, hardware profiles, etc. etc. Don't bother!

Don't buy Win2000 to dual boot, if you already have it, fine. But it's usually just a waste of HD space.

the only reason why I'd get W2K is because sometime my SWFs crash from invalid AS code, and MSN Messenger somtimes freezes and explorer restarts quiting most of the open applications, and because I want to get rock solid stability for when that copy of Visual Studio 6 that I ordered arrives.

Blah blah blah... Do as you wish, but keep Win98 for nonproductivity applications.
