Jaybot's Slim Casio Mod

Re: Jaybot's Slim Casio Mod

Hell, it wasn't trashed, I was easily able to put it back together and get it working again; well, enough to give back to my younger brother to use anyway ;)

And Moose, if you couldn't tell the damn thing was a joke from the beginning, that's pretty sad. Even Matt's description sounded like the thing was a joke.

No it doesn't. There's not even a smily to clue you in that you're supposed to think it's funny. And it doesn't seem like a joke with all that documentation and those pictures you took. I think you actually were trying to slim down the Casio, but when I started saying stuff about the article sucking you got defensive and tried to pass it off as something else. You're going to have a lot of angry people if they actually do this thing. And why not take my simple suggestion, put a warning at the beginning of it. That's the first thing I'd do if it were a joke article, especially one that isn't too funny.

OMG Moose, calm down, you get pissy so easily. If you read it there IS a warning you retard. I'm not being defensive about anything. No one in their right mind would honestly consider doing this before reading through it, unless they were a spoiled 17 year old who is bitter about screwing up their overclock job and didn't get any sleep last nite because they stayed up too late downloading celebrity hardcore xxx porn at 4am so as not to get caught by his Christian parents :)

And yes, I was originally trying to slim it down. And I thought it was funny the whole damn time I was taking the pics; because I knew that I would come to a point where it would never work; and I had/have the ability to fix it at my disposal.

Well, I can say that it does look slimmer. Though I wouldn't wanna try that on my PPC. I wonder if you can order just the EM500 casing? If that was possible (and for a cheap price) then you CAN probably mod it to fit. Just my $.02.

No, it's a gift. Like Rembrandt had it for painting, and bach for music. It takes years to refine so that such works of arts can be produced. Take Jaybot for instance: years and years of mexican soapoperas and banging his head against the wall to produce such a masterpiece. It's art.

Ah yes, just like Rembrandts art in his days, no one really apreciated his stuff until he was dead.. no wait, he had a really big, successful workshop. Nevermind. It wasnt the Mexican soaps, but that damn Mexican Music pumping alternating bass through the floor at 3am tht did it. And I banged my head against metal doors and wooden desks as well :)
