I dont have an exact figure on battery life, but it last plenty long for me, and I have an extra battery for when it does go dead.

I thought this is a serious discussion board. I wanted to get some info from Pocket-PC 'brothers' but all I am reading is $%@%@ talk. I can go to the local bar for that. Makes me think twice to come back and visit this site. Sorry!

Ugh. I actually help this guy, and then everyone else ruins it! I keep telling you guys that it's not me.

ITGuy, if you're still coming back here...
The Genio Toshiba PPCs aren't the best, but they're alright. It really depends on what you want to do with your PPC. But in general, the @migo is the most powerful and most versatile PocketPC currently available. It comes with a built in modem and PC Card (I think even Type III, but don't quote me on that) support. However, there aren't any keyboard accessories or @migo specific accessories like that available.

The new HP 565 and 568 will most likely be compatible with all of the current Jornada accessories, if you REALLY want a keyboard accessory. But it only comes with a CF Type I expansion slot, for maybe some small amounts of extra storage. A CF Type II adaptor is available, which will give you access to the LAN cards, and anything more advanced than static storage, like the upcoming VGA Card.

So, if you want to buy lots of accessories (but remember, you can use your own handwriting and have the PPC recognize it fairly accurately) then get the HP. If you want to be able to do just about ANYTHING with your PocketPC, get the @migo.

I just went back and read the thread...Moose actually was one of the first to offer advice.

ITGuy, if you are still around, stick around, this really is the best place to get real-time advice and tips. It just tends to get silly at times, but usually only in the anything room.

As for degredation of threads, after reading this one, I was shocked to see how quickly it digressed. Though, it usually starts out fairly innocuously.

But, again, I say there is lots to be had here...

Well, I gave it another shot this morning. And what do I see? Exactly what I was looking for. Help and insights, tips, recommendations... If it stays that way I definitely will stick around. Thanks to MooseMaster.

Back to the forum. I have a wireless LAN at home. All I basically want to do there (other than regular PPC tasks) is to sit on the couch and quickly check and answer email and have a quick look my favourite web sites all before dinner. Without booting up my machine at home. To answer email I thought a keyboard might be handy.
I have an Aero 2130 upgraded to Pocket PC. The only reason why I am starting to shop around is I cannot find a wireless CF card that works with my Aero and my wireless network.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a wireless CF card (thought I saw it in the PocketPC mag). I'll take a look.
