Oh boy, now I have to buy SC2000 for my PC...<br>But it sure will be cool to start a game on my PC and finish it on my iPAQ!<br>:)

It IS easier to work around and manipulate on the PC. Of course. The screen size makes a difference. But the playability is still very good on the PPC. It's not like SNES9x on PC versus PPC, where its still playable but not all that great. Once you manage to figure out how to work with it well, its awesome (if you like that kinda game).

I went to install SimCity3k on my computer, and because I have the jumpers screwed up my entire computer trashed itself for the 5th time in 3 months. But this time I have a network, so i managed to remote transfer all my large files over so it wasn't as much of a hassle as it usually is! Plus, I got Sygate software so I'm connected to the internet through one central computer, I don't even need my modem anymore! It's just so cool being able to turn my computer on and have AIM load and logon automatically right from the start, even if it's still 28,8k! And firewalls are a lot cooler than I thought, as well. Now all I need is a third phoneline and one more modem so I can multilink the modems so it doesn't really slow down when my dad's on too.<br><br>I think I'll get SimCity2k for the PPC, but is there any kind of demo available? $30 is a whole lot of money, especially when you can find SC3k in the 10$ bargain bin now-a-days.

Isn't SC3k Unlimited still a hefty price?<br>The only demo for SC2kPPC just shows animated screenshots. Suck arse!

Wow, i haven't played simcity since i owned a mac classic 2 in the early 90's. Much has changed and i can't advance for 5hit! Where are the cheats and tricks.

I just didn't like the fact that you have to disable Gigabar to play. If not, the menu at the top will be under the Gigabar menu.<br>That's a intresting information to add to your to your review, Mike.

And if you notice, actually the standard Start bar is completely covered, even if you use WisBar. So unless yer a GigaBar user....you no longer have task switching capability or any capability for that matter. You have to save and exit the game in order to use the device for anything other than SimCity2000. I think that kinda sucks really big. Prolly my biggest qualm. I'd like to check a calendar date real quick without having to save, exit, check, load, reload....

Totaly stupid, IMO. Those who created it must think the PPC is just some kind of GBA, and nobody use it for anything else. It's a pain to have to disable Gigabar and then reboot just to play a game. If I knew about this I wouldn't have bought it.<br>My use of my iPAQ is PRIMARILY for work, and in my spare time or when I'm at the can I play games. I guess at least 80% of PPC users are like me, and not hardcore gamers.

I suppose they wanted the extra space for the game. Fullscreen so to speak. But it's not completely fullscreen since they still have the menubar at the bottom. I say give us an option. I can lose 26 out of 320 pixels without crying.
