Playing RealMedia

Playing RealMedia

Postby JayLagorio » Dec 30, 2001 @ 2:31pm

Does anyone know where I can find a program that will play RealMedia on the HP Jornada 568? It doesn't seem like Real will be doing it any time soon. Thanks!

--Jay

Haha, that was my first post on PM either. My tip would be to encode it for PocketTV (). Size: 192*144, bitrate: 123kb/s; sound: mono, 32kb/s.
Try Google for some tool to convert to DivX before (for some reason the DivX-player still doesnt work for me)

use divx, mpeg is now better than divx on ppc in all ways - check the multimedia forum for more proof. these settings will work for you:
320 x 240 res
90 degress rotated left
200kps video
32 or 40kps MP3 sound.

the divx player works on my EM500 fine - shape you might just have a dodgy bit in your ppc.
