Have any of you seen this post on PocketGamer.org? ATI has made a 2D and MPEG graphics card accelerator for all PDA's: WinCE, Palm, Linux, and EPOC, plus data enabled mobile phones. 800x600 16bit resolution, BitBLT (fill, srcCopy)-ROP3, DrawLine, Sprites, Font caching, Font anti-aliasing, Scaling, Object rotation, Alpha blending acceleration. It also has embedded memory to take the stress off the CPU and the program memory. This won't help much with Quake, except for actually blitting the image to the screen, but it's nice that a big name graphics company is doing something for my little PDA. It's a chip the the manufacturer has to install themselves, unless you've got a nice solder and can take the current TCON off.<br>Well, you can read the website for more info.<br><br>Here's ATI's official webpage:<br>
