It's slow on every device. It's a pretty graphically intensive game that requires more power than today's PocketPC's can provide. It was more of a technological marvel than a playable port, but Dan is working hard on speeding up the game in anyway he can. If you really want to help Dan do this, maybe you should go buy his great file explorer program named "DEXplor." The website address is . Not only will you increase Dan's funds, allowing him to work more on PocketQuake, but you'l also get a great file explorer with built in registry editting and ZIP extraction and compression capabilities for a mere $13.95. I have it, and it's personally the best application I own for the PocketPC.
