I'm working on an upgrade of iPAQ SDK as part of my day to day work.

Are there any changes you guys want to see in the iPAQ SDK? Any new functions, wishes?

Is there any function that you definitely want to see into the iPAQ SDK?

I'd like to be able to sync to the screen refresh rate.. and if possible have a function that lets me know which horizontal line is being drawn to the screen (akin to GetScanLine (IIRC) in DirectX).

As far as I can see here, GetSerialNo should only work on Compaq devices, since it uses the EEPROM to get the data. IT is unknown how other manufacturers are doing EEPROM and if they use the same EEPROM programming interface/chips.

Since InfoGetSerialNo hasnt change, I'm inclined
to think that the EEPROM contents have changed between devices...

I dunno, I'll have to ask my CPQ peer.
