Paul, if you're rejected like how Moose was, I don't think you'd be as happy as Moose.
ALTO SAX!! YEAHH! The only problem with the sax is that we're almost considered (well, sometimes we are) lower class compared to the rest of the band. We almost NEVER get melody, and if we all make a big mistake, no one cares or even notices. Sometimes we do get melody, in one song we're doing now, sax has all the melody (when the sax has melody, it is AAALWAYS shared with the clarents and flutes, ALWAYS), but it's a horribly slow boring song. The BEST song so far that we've played with year was the Nutcracker (from the play), we had tons of melody, but not enough to not let all the other instruments have it too. But this round of music, we have NOTHING. People even make fun of us, saying "ha ha! You don't have any melody! Ha ha!" *starts wimpering* But I shall never give up the saxamophone! Umm, ok, this is already going too off topic, so I'll just say that I'm excited about my chic joining band, she'll be the only violin (one other in the other band), so I don't know if she'll get much melody, she'll probably be playing a flute or piccillo part, and the flutes have tons more melody than the sax, but of course the reign of melody belongs to stupid trumpets! *starts screaming punching stuff* But oh well, I still have all the melody in that really slow boring song!! HAHAHA! Oh, and with my chic there, I don't think I'll be caring about melody...
