Oh yeah? Well, I like to use Photogenics. It's really hard to make pixel art with it, though. That can be really annoying when you are making animated GIFs.
Personally, I think that the demo is great. If you have like an option for better AI in the full game than in the demo, that will probably help ya with your demo dilema.
Editing the DAT files is really, really easy, especially as long as you associate DAT files with Pocket Word. Seriously, though. It's even a lot easier than editing the Autoconfig file in PocketQuake! It's easier than HTML. It tells you what to do in the actual DAT file. It's not hard at all.
