That quantum foam stuff is garbage, pure fancy. What paul said about universal harp strings colliding sounds like science fiction as well, but who knows.

I read about 2 years ago that someone sent light across a gap faster than the speed of light. It actually exited the device before it entered, so that was interesting.
They're also thinking about using this, with the nuetrons that someone mentioned earlier, to actually send transmittions faster than the speed of light, great for space travel. All very exciting!

Maybe people from the future ARE the grey aliens piloting those UFO's. I mean, what kind of alien would look that similar to us but not be related at all? My guess is that UFO's and greys are highly evolved humans from the future. Or perhaps the Nordic aliens that look just like us are the people from the future and the greys are simply machines or droids. Anything is possible. And along those lines, I'm pretty sure humans would invent sensory stealth device LONG before they invent TIME TRAVEL of all things! Maybe they've created a device to 'resignated' at a different frequency, going along with paul's harpsicordial universe.

But here's an neat little topic of interest.
A laser is set up to shoot particles of light through through this hole in a piece of paper onto another.

When it shoots a continuous stream of particles the minute differences in the angle of the beam magnify when going through the hole, causing light particles to hit the paper in places outside the area where the hole is.

If a these particles of light are shot through a filter first which only allows one particle to pass at a time one would think that that particle would end up directly in the center of the hole on the other side. This, however, is not true. It creates the same pattern as the unfiltered laser beam. Where do these particle come from or why/how are they redirected?

Very interesting!

yeah moose wheres the evidence? its crazy! how can anyone believe this shit?!

oh wait a minute, you're just some punk kid and these guys are physicists.

by the way, the dimensions are x,y,z, time and stuff like the 4 forces (weak, strong nuclear and whatever) and others that we havent ever heard of in our oh-so great knowledge of HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICS.

just lie down moose. you're being silly.

they showed that well in the simpsons 'treehouse of horror' ep where homer made a timetravelling toaster and went to the jurassic era and squished a dragonfly.

when he got back, people were lizards or some shit, so he kept going back again and again, each time the world was slightly different - one of them, he asked around for some doughnuts and there werent any so he screamed and left the parallel world, then a few seconds later it started raining doughnuts!

eventually he got back to a 'normal' world and they just sat down to start eating and his family had superlong tongues... "meh, close enough"

genius.

I was pretty sure the buttefly effect is the unavoidable effect in which you inadvertantly change the future when you go back in time. For instance, when you suddenly appear in the past you disperse the air around you which could cause a wind across the globe which could move the ball just enough for Babe Ruth to miss it and never become famous. Something like that.

its called butterfly because they say a butterly flapping its wings in australia can cause a hurricane in japan. its not important which countries you use, but basically everthing has an effect.

just by observing something we are changing it. hence the heisenberg principle.

Ok, everybody agrees that we may farg up things if we travel back in time and smash a butterfly or brake some air. So, exactly why are we discussing this?
