from what carpe posted in the ag forum it sounded like the monkeystone thing fell through??? I'm sure it will all work itself out at some point.

Im sorry but i have to say i feel sorry for ionside. It seems like they keep getting farged

everytime they want to release this game. Im really getting sick of all this shit in the game industry like what happend with machineworks and ID. It seems like all these game developers are a greedy and petty. Not to friendly of an industry to work in huh?

To also clarify an issue that I didnt do this for any money. Just for the fun

Carpe is super cool, and I really enjoyed working with him, he was always into what I was doing, and we remain great friends. I really hope the game comes out soon. I really wanted people to know my side of things, and where I stand on it.

It was (is) sprite based, but all the sprites where first built in 3d then rendered/cropped and scaled to the correct size

Freddy did the voxel engine. Now that I think of it, I remember a conversation between Carpe and me on ICQ, in which I talked to him about the money the team members get. When I asked him why Jason only gets 1%, he started bitching that he cannot give him more because he 'only' gets 30% himself. I was prejudiced regarding Freddy from the beginning (I offered Carpe my help a day or two after I read the first announcement on PocketGamer, one day later he told me that Carpe told him nothing about that and said my help would not be needed any longer). I have to admit that I wasnt fair regarding Fredrik. I mocked him, I sweared at him. Now I would like to say that I feel sorry, Fredrik. If you read this, please accept my apologies.
Regarding the work Fredrik has done, he is the only one to deserve the 30% share.

Nonsense. Most of the posts here are made by kids who never did anything in their lives, and what is even sorry, by real grown ups that have nothing better to do that hang out in forums with their sorry lives bitching at other people's work and not doing any work of their own.

So whatever man, it was funny reading all this junk. But i'm done with it. It kind of feels good to be the center of discussion, it makes me feel important and shit. So stop flattering me and quit talking about me and the team when you don't know us. I know i'm pretty much the reason of why you guys keep on living and don't simply jump off a building, I do understand that at lunch, breakfast and dinner all you ever do is talk about me and how much the game sucks. I know i'm the reason why your girlfriend dumped you for another guy (an even more sorry guy than you), it's understandable she got tired of listenting to you guys talk about me.

So basically i KNOW i'm almighty god to you guys, so i guess i'll just have to write up my commandments to you guys:

1) Thou shall be productive and do stuff of your own
2) Thou shall mind your own business
3) Thou shall stop talking about things you don't understand
4) Thou shall stop hitting refresh all day on this forum.
5) Thou shall not have sexual fantasies with your god, only thou sister shall
6) Thou shall get your hemorroids treated
7) Thou shall never speak the name of God or Holy John in vain
8) Thou shall take a bath at least once a year
9) Thou shall stop playing kiddie videogames if you are over 30 years old.
10)Thou shall GET A LIFE

IMHO I always thought the beauty of videogames was the fact that they appeal to EVERYONE. Shigeru Miyamoto (of Nintendo fame) openly says that videogames are one of his true passions in life, and he's no spring chicken. My girlfriend's dad has just bought a Gamecube on import and sits down and plays on Luigi's Mansion for ages!

Also, i realise that there are many negative, opinionated posts on this forum, but i really feel that the developers shouldn't stoop to their level. It seems kinda unprofessional and besides, it only gives the original message posters more to be negative about. I'm not really into RTS games but i am intrigued by Argentum, if only from a technology perspective. I sincerely hope that they overcome their difficulties and manage to release what seems like a very promising title. I am surprised by all the demands to 'release it now': I can understand the impatience, but i'm sure the developers want it released more than anyone! Anyway, just my 2 cents!
