I think paul is just that, himself. I never get the impression that he is some keyboard tough-guy or the kind of person to walk around and act different to different people. It's just a hunch, but I think it is accurate.

The only issue is being shy around the Library Girl(tm). But, I think we all had our own Library Girl(tm), in our day.

yes ric, i am exactly the same in real life...

today i had the pefect opportunity and i blew it. big time. i messed up. i froze. i choked...

i'm sitting in my favourite spot - two tables placed together, me, reading dracula, of all things! and some guy with a ton of work spread out on his half of the desk... so in walks LG and a friend and they scan the library for seats and eventually get about oh... 6 feet away from me. so i'm just staring at her again and shes lookin over at me and i dunno what they're talking but they sure are lingering so i think "come on paul, you're only reading a book, you dont need this table, offer it to her man".

so... shes still there... with her friend, still looking around. i'm still staring. still wanting to give up my chair. then they leave. and paul breaks the table in two in rage.

i tells ya, if that happens again. i aint gonna hesitate.

I think it is time to give up in library girl. This thread alone is 4 months old and this whole time you have been staring at her and even herd her talking about you. She must see you as creapy by now so it is too late to make a good impression. She already has a bad one after you have been staring at her forever and NEVER even say ONE WORD. I don't know what to say. If you didn't hesitate in the first place you may have had a change.

i said i think she was. simply because of all the staring and such and such.

heres the big chances i've had:

1. almost bumped into her with... NO consequences... oh well.
2. both went through a door at the same time with HILARIOUS consequences!
3. sat at the same table as her (and she was alone) and coulda worked my magic. ahem. but didnt.
4. the big "give her your seat paul!" problem. that happened today.

i think "the man upstairs" (uh... mooses dad) has given me way too many chances and i've used none of them. still... i can look at her any time i want.

anyways... she could be reading this thread and trying to avoid me for all i know.

you are just to funny. Yeah you are right, you can just take in all the eye candy you want. Hopefully you will find another library girl soon that you actually do talk to and hook up with.
