troubles with update 1.6

Hi,
I just bought Snails...love it! I think I have a problem though. I installed the full version in my storage card and then installed update 1.6 in the storage card as well, but I do not see any of the changes in the game. There is no volume control or some of the other options as far as I can see. I see both the full version and the update folders in on the storage card. In fact, I tried playing the .exe file in the update, but a pop up said that there was nothing associated with that .exe. I tried reinstalling both pieces of software, but this did not seem to make a difference. Any ideas? I am using an ipaq 3765 (PPC 2002).

Ok...I think I got it to work. I read another post down the line which said to copy everything from the update file into the full version file. My question is: Will I have to do this for every update? It is no big deal, I would just like to have a heads up though.

Just to make it easier for the end user, we should have it overwrite the existing version. I am not sure if there is a limitation with the installer, since I usually end up moving files manually from device to storage card.
