How can you be so sure, I've heard bad things about it.
I've got it but it now crashes pretty much as soon as I try to do anything in it.

I'm pretty sure that's not the problem, being that i've been through a CS course at uni and been working as a programmer for 5 years.
it installs loads of adware and other shite and i think it's all that crap that's screwing up.

I don't think there are any options when installing it. I may be wrong, but there's loads of comments on cnet.com which say the same thing.
CS - most of it was pretty good, maybe a bit basic at the start when it's trying to get everybody up to the same level, and some of the mandatory modules were a bit dull, but I did some pretty interesting stuff.
Where are you going to go? I was at Manchester (England if you'd not already guessed).

hang on, i just had an idea... a while ago i heard you could cheat alladvantage by simply making a program that had 'Internet Explorer' in its title...

i dont know if thats actually true but do these ads look for that too? because i renamed my IE windows to 'monkey'...

I did that a while ago. You have to do some other stuff to to 'simulate surfing' like wobbling the mouse and posting click messages to internet explorer. Oh, my program also removed alladvantage from the screen but it still worked. I've stopped using it now though.
Don't think the ads will look for that in the title, they make their own connections i think. I'm by no means an expert on this 'spyware' though, i only found out about it yesterday.
