Here's the new thread for Luci, NY and Warren...and now me.
1) Switzerland did their part. Actually, in part they kept Germany from getting nukes...but then so did Heisenberg.
2) Russia winning WWII...hahaha...that is funny.
3) I forget who said it, but Hitler did his fair share of losing all by himself. He cut the Luftwaffe off, sent Rammul to Africa and fought a war on 2 fronts, not to mention loosing 1Mil+ soldiers in the Balkens. Not too swift.
4) The U.S. liberated France.
5) Arguing about the 'possible' outcomes of a war can be productive, but never proven. Mere attrition does not win a war.
--In Vietnam, for instance, we the kill ratio was somewhere around 20-1, but I doubt you can say the U.S. won.
--In WWII, the U.S. was outnumbered considerably in many major battles, but still won. Arguably we were out engineered too.
--In the Gulf War the U.S. won through pure technical and training supperiority.
It is difficult to call something the 'magic bullet' that constitutes who will/would have won a war.
