No one said anything about air dropping troops, although that is possible as it was done a lot in World War 2. I was talking about bombing. Your great at putting words in peoples mouths though. You need to stop playing with Star Wars toys and check into it. And for your info I was ROTC in the army.

And now explain to me how you conquer a nation a whole ocean away by bombardment.
And while you're at it, explain what kind of deployment system was available in the 40s that was capable of sending a payload of explosives over the North Atlantic or Pacific.
And what is ROTC? A honorary title like Pack Leader in the Boy Scouts?

Yeah your right bombardment by plane was impossible. Pearl Harbor *cough*. And thats why the whole US eastern seaboard had to have their lights out by a certain time, cause they obviously where not worried about bombardment by air.

Your young, naive and don't know how to read too? I said conquer by bombardment (remember that's what we're talking about here - world dominance by Hitler or Stalin).
So now you're saying Japan tried to conquer the US by hitting Pearl?
Naive, young and even stupid I can understand, but now you're sounding crazy.

Just wanted to interrupt to say... This is pretty good reading. A fairly mature discussion, mixed up with some old-fashioned insult tactics just to keep it interesting. Nice to see that differences in opinion don't always lead to bouts of pathetic, schoolground-esque name calling. Don't let me stop you though, carry on... :)

I have to agree with Dawson Laery on that one.
(But please admit I pissed you with the Dawson Leary part).
