Not only that, but the textures appear to have been filtered - exactly like in the 3D-accelerated version of GTA.

And of course, ALL PPC's have 3D chipsets build in nowadays, right? :D

If this is really the real thing, please make an SH3 version. A 256 color SH3 version would be heaven, dont like playing some games with distorted colors :) It shouldnt be that hard to program and the game should run fine.

Well, I looked for one in my Jornada box, but there wasn't one there. Guess HP forgot to put it in. I'll phone them up and see if they can post me one.

If this really is an april fools joke, someone oughtta tell the folks at pocketgamer.org .. They're running an article about it. Also, there was no 3dfx in GTA1

The Windows version had 3Dfx support, as far as I can remember.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! GTA for PPC!!! AHHH!!!!! In school, we play GTA2 LAN games everyday! AND NOT IT'S COMING TO PPC!!! AHHH!! *drools and slobbers everywhere* This better not be an April Fools joke, that one last year about GBA emulator really got me.

yeah, well some guys working on a clone, apparently.

then theres that clone 'payback' made for the amiga i think. that could be ported.
