Snails works great on the Joranda 720. No problems so far, except for when I finished the first level in deathmatch it wouldn't allow me to play the next level without exiting. After loading up, the screen said I won.

Perhaps just a demo flaw? It was corrected when I exited and re-started the game.

As others have suggested, it would be ideal to see this as a full screen version on the 720. Other than that, I look forward to the full version being available.

When will that be?

OK, just tried to install on a 690, and it said that it doesn't support the connected device.

The exe is "snails_demo_hpc_sh3.exe" and it's an HP Jornada 690 connected to WinXP using a serial cradle, and Activesync 3.5

Any ideas?

OK, further info, I have copied the snailshpc.hpc_sh3.CAB over to the device, and tried to manually install it, it still says it's not for this device, it may not work etc, but it does let me choose an install dir, and creates a shortcut in games.

When I try to run it however, it says cannot find 'snails' blah blah blah.

Weird.

I also get Snails freezing once in a while while loading the game. It's quite rare, actually, and not a major problem.

One question, or suggestion, besides making this full-screen for the 720, is adding keys for the longer jump.

I've figured out that the number keys - 1 to 3 - determine look, move and aim, and the space bar is fire, along with the arrow keys for aiming and short jumps, but there appears to be no buttons for the longer jumps.

Other than that, I can't wait until this is released as a full product for the 720.
