DoomPDA-finally getting it's just rewards!

T1, I'm talking about the Handago product listing for DoomPDA. Nowhere does it say who is selling the product, thus you do not know who is supposed to support it, or where the official website is at.

Also, they dare not create a customer support forum for it. I have a hunch that they would not be able to delete the negative posts fast enough...

they are like mesquitos... they buzz around a market sucking money from people, then when people get smart, they are swatted to an other market.

if you can find it, look at there Model airplane software, its funny.

anyone who has played doom pda, I suggest you do a review on handango and give it one star. This will hit them in the pocket and prevent future companies from doing this again to the ppc community. Also it would be great to see a piece of software with like 50 negative reviews attatched to it.

This thread and another below were started as a result of my purchasing and reviewing DoomPDA and then puting a review on Handango where I gave DoomPDA 1 (then subsequently 2, just to be nice) stars.

Shape, it is 520k because the download isnt actually for the game, its for a windows downloader to get the game.

Yeah, Handago is definitely skewing the reviews. It went up a full point since yesterday to 3.5 stars.

"The custom button ability is awesome!"

Yeah, the ability to assign 4 buttons to do different things is truly an awesome thing to behold. This person must have some incredibly low standards to be so impressed over simple configurability expected of all commercial products.

"This is the official id software version of the game for PDA's and they obviously spent a great deal of time getting it right. Kudos!"

Real customers don't say things like that. Funny how all the positive reviews cleverly "educate" potential customers to a "feature" of the software.
