Library Girl Thread

Postby randall » Apr 16, 2002 @ 2:25pm

Actually, I just massively modified my post. Too much crap, and too much pointing fingers in one direction.

I was actually speaking both ways on the whole platonic thing. Its not a one way road, and just because I say "she needs to do this..." actually refers to both, since I don't know what's really going on.

Actually, I have no problem with both walking around completely nude, either. What is more natural than that? She can DEFINATELY tell if you aren't being honest. :)

Funny thing what paul said about "something in his pocket". My female-friend and I were always very close, physically. Many occasions, she could feel "something in my pocket", like when she was sitting on my lap. She'd always acknowldge by wispering in my ear, once she even thanked me "for the compliment".

Always a major source of embarrassment for me.

Yes, Dawnya was a woman like any other. Of course I should have been able to read her better than that, and she should have been more truthful. That was exactly ten years ago and it still pains me when she doesn't speak in my dreams - she never speaks. I see her less frequently since I married 5 years ago.

I should clear up the naked thing. I wouldn't walk around naked in front of a friend, probably even a true/platonic one... but my girlfriend and I are both happy to wander around naked in my flat (I do it largely because I over-heat very easily, rather than for any macho reason :) ). I have no problem with nudity, per se, I just don't think that my friends would want to see me naked, and I wouldn't want to see them naked.

Cheers,

I hope the walls are thicker than at my friend's Uni. accomodation. The girl upstairs from him had the nickname "nympho-dwarf", for good reason.

I always liked visiting my girlfriend's place and having 5 more women wandering around the communal areas in various states of undress. :D

Cheers,

i dunno, i dont think i'd mind dropping my towel or anything if i was walking around in that.

but then, i find it hard to sit still in the library. got the urge to just jump on a desk and shout stuff.

gotta be careful there. one time i was thinking about something and in classic bad-sitcom style i said it out loud.

oh yeah, on my way back to the library i passed lg2 on the stairs. not sure, but when i looked back i think she did too. well anyway that isnt the news. the news is that when i went back to where she was sitting (i assume she hadnt moved since i left the library) - i checked the last usernames of the PCs next to her.

the thing is, it seems the big list of students i have on my pc (got it off the ms address book) is too old which means shes a first year!

crikey, well at least i'll know where she is later in the year...

Is that the thread where we had a pillow fight in a pit of jello with various super models? You should drudge up that thread, that was hilarious!

Get this. She was just online, I didn't hear the noise when she came online I was listening to MP3's. She messages me asking where and when she has to be for the Fashion Show rehearsal (I told you guys about that). I stutter for a second, she hasn't messaged me FIRST in about a month. But I tell her what time and where, she doesn't MENTION my email then says she's got to go to do homework. She's all cheery and all, I make a joke and she laughs. It's apparently all good. Again, I know she really is busy with homework so that is never an excuse or lie. But she just doesn't mention it. I check and see, hey she was online for 5 minutes before she even messaged me, that's how long it would have taken to read my emails, maybe she replied to them... Nope, no new messages.
This is what I'm talking about. She is perfectly normal around me, but just doesn't ... DO anything, I don't know how to explain it.

well whats your problem?

she read it, accepts you arent interested but wants to remain her friend and shes okay with it.

you dont have to over-analyse and talk things out all the time!

jeez, havent you seen frasier? every time he tries his psycho-stuff on people it fucks up.

But there's more to discuss. There's this huge line that's restricting the friendship. I'd never cross the real line but she had to verbalize a much stricter line. I want to talk to her about that... but maybe you're right, maybe a lack of a reply is an acknowledge that it's okay. It's just Randall's situation, I want to resolve it. I'm sick of tip-toeing and guessing!
