The most remarkable thing I saw here was something from Warren: "It's easy to be platonic friends if she is ugly". (or something to that effect) So what if people think she's your girlfriend? Its gotta be better than any relationship your NOT having right now, Mr. I-didn't-get-laid-last-night-because-my-hand-fell-asleep.

So now Warren is such a hot commodity that he can look down on his non-pretty friends. There ya go- thats probably 90% of your problem. The other part is probably relying on tactics to get the girl. Bands? Muscle? DOGS? Jesus Christ, how about workin on some friggin personality?

According to the shit you post here Warren, girls are probably AFRAID of you.

Paul, here is your obligatory word-search nugget.

Dunno Moose. Boyfriends are a bitch, and they ARE always jealous. Because you know much more about her than they do. You know what turns her on. You know how to get her to discuss her most intimate secrets. She'll just hang out with you just for the hell of it. She accepts you for the way you are. You might have seen her in her underwear, because she wanted someone to talk to while she was getting dressed. (that last one is obvious flirtation on her part, but who cares)

Yep, going clothes shopping could be a real treat.

If he's jealous then he's a loser AND a dork. If she is going to screw around on him, he can't do shit about it. Jealousy has NEVER stopped someone from cheating. However, love, compassion, respect and attention seems to prevent at least 95% of infidelity cases. (I am just making up numbers to pretend that I am an expert :) )

Maybe a line needed to be drawn. I have no idea. I know my friend never drew one. In fact we never discussed such matters, we just automatically knew. She (she meaning all women) has beatiful body language, ya'know- spend the time to read it because it speaks the truth even when her lips won't.

Once you get that figured out, even body language such as "please, I need my space" doesn't hurt at all. Just PAY ATTENTION. She is much better at reading you, so its rare if she makes a wrong move.

Even if you don't see her much, you can still pick up clues.

Here's my opinion. She should treat you like one of her girlfriends AND recognise you for the man you are. You should treat her like one of your male buddies AND recognise her for the woman she is. This can be done without constantly switching from one mode to the other.

She's going to have boyfriends. Might as well come to terms with it. The mere fact that you are "tired of her talking about her boyfriend" is a major problem. Maybe you better start listening, because she doesn't have to share ANYTHING at all. She doesn't owe you shit.

Maybe she wants a response and testing the waters. Which way do you want to go? Jealous? Irritated? Ignoring? Or do you want to listen intently and discover more about her. The way she ticks. Whats wrong with being inqusitive? She'll be damn happy to spill her guts.

Maybe she wants feedback. Stating her boyfriend is a jealous dork would be pretty dumb. And blatantly saying "you could do better" may not be wise either- insulting her tastes isn't a big hit, unless its trivial like ice cream flavors. She wants details, not blanket statements.

Sexual tension? Yeah, I sense some there with Moose and his friend. In fact if you are indeed a man and she is indeed a woman, there HAS to be sexual tension. I'm not talking about SEX. Its just the acknowldgement of the persons others sexuality. Depending on how close you are to her, that tension does rise to SEX eventually.

Denying your love for her, and denying that you want to share yourself with her, wholy and completely isn't healthy. Have you ever told her that you love her? And NOT that crap "I love you as a friend" bullshit. This relationship is something truly special, without boundries and limits. ACT like it is important and something truly unique.

I watched Friends tonight. (hey Paul, waddya think of Friends, huh? huh? This is a second obligatory word-search nugget for you) Say what you will about the show, but Jennifer Aniston is good enough reason to watch it. Rachels and Joeys relationship is like alot of platonic relationships I suppose. They live together, but have never dated.

Rachel was feeling bad about herself- pregnant, although she doesn't appear to be showing. So Joey took her on a date, as a friend in order to boost her spirits. It goes alot farther than that, but this is an example of how things work. What would have been a girlfriends solution? Clothes shopping or getting a pedicure? She doesn't have a boyfriend. Even if she did, what would be his solution to make her feel appreciated and feminine?

Obviously I have no problems with platonic friends being intimate once in a while, unless one of them is involved in a relationship. In my terms, intimacy can be described on many levels. But it is always sharing the inner self of two people.

For once you have the attention of a woman that isn't interested in your car, or the way you dress, or you cologne, or where you are taking her to dinner.

For once she has the attention of a man that doesn't care if she's wearing sweatpants and hasn't looked in the mirror all day, or doesn't oggle her with one thing on his mind. She can talk to you about problems and not worry that you'll think she's weird.

In fact, you can help each other to learn what it means to have a healthy and mature relationship. One where respect, compassion, understanding, love and attention are the foundation. And with that, you'll both have fullfilling lives and relationships- even if you part ways.

BTW Moose, if you sent her my edited version, could you pass it on to me (without your personal stuff). I assume you edited irrelevant crap and modified it so it wasn't so obviously based on your relationship- so its probably fairly generic.

European chics are more intelligent. Oh, and of course, YOU HAVE TOPLESS BEACHES!! About a year ago, my dad went to Barcelona, ES on business, and he said the beaches there were the BEST. But Paul, old British ladies are ugly, with the screwed up teeth and blue hair... but hey, those S Club 7 chics are damn hot! Is your library girl better than the S Club 7 chics?

TOPLESS BEACHES IN AMERICA!! HAHAHA!!! NO! Please, the government is against adult clubs/stores and everything. In Québec, Canada, they wanted to make topless beaches, but the US stepped in and said no.
