Well, I'll feel like a real sucker if it turns out that the Perkins' 'Final Legacy' is a hoax. Anyone who would go to the trouble to put up a web page etc. would have to be a little sick if it were just a suck-in job.
But what I don't understand is -what are these guys doing this for if not partly for the fun of releasing a port that many are looking forward to. Which means communicating a little on forums like this. In the early days of Doom (and Id),circa 1993-1994, it was not unusual for Romero and Carmack to take part in forum threads on Compuserve- it was obvious that they enjoyed the anticipation and excitement of diehard gamers.
So....Perkins my man! AM I A SUCKER?????
