I just had some kid telling me today that America is evil because it doesn't tax the rich hard enough. I'm an upper class citizen, and my family is taxed of over 50% of our gross income. You don't think we're being taxed enough? "You're rich, you can afford more. Arrogant pricks." So this "oppressive economy" is FED by the rich. By far the majority of taxes are claimed from the rich families of America. It's like he's saying "RICH PEOPLE SHOULD GET TAXED MORE" and "THE GOVERNMENT SUCKS AND SHOULDN'T SPEND SO MUCH MONEY" at the same time. I told him how rich people don't just get money for being white and christian, they WORKED for it. He says his mom works hard as a nurse and doesn't get paid much. What's the problem here? IF YOU WANT MONEY, DON'T BE A NURSE. He believes we should take everyone's savings account and pool it equally to everyone. Okay, here black guy in the inner city who has never worked a second in your life, here white guy in the apartment who flips burgers, have all of my hard earned money. He says I'm blinded by the media. Yet he blames me for being conservative. Is it just me, or is almost all of the media liberal? Fox news channel is just about the only one I can find that is balanced.
The people that such a good society can breed, it's amazing. Go to Africa and bitch about the rich not being taxed enough. Try to make money off of your "Music" (these liberal anti-government bands, eg AntiFlag). Fuck that, they should shut their pretty little mouths, however fashionable it is to "Fight the Good Fight."
), and I have family in Idaho. I go to eastern Oregon quite a bit (mostly Vale and Ontario) , and my grandparents are building a house their soon (in Vale). So if you live anywhere by the border, maybe sometime we can hang out (or share indian stories and smoke a peace pipe
