Nice, but do US networks for mobile phones (uh, strange word construction ) support all the gimmicks it has?

Our GSM network is pretty slow or very expensive if you want to have speed, but things seem to improve with i-mode (which is available for a few weeks now but only supported by one of our networks) and the upcoming UMTS.

btw, I prefer Siemens mobiles, the SL45 with Java Virtual Machine is still quite impressive.

I'm a Siemens fan as well, I even programmed for the SL45i (and other MIDP devices as well ofcourse) a while ago, but before the thing was on the market in Holland I stopped working at that company. So I never even saw my apps run on an actual target device, only on emulators
