Linux for SH3 is being developed and you can help!

I found this site , a few days ago. I could not go to the site, so I emailed the webmaster. I found his email address on . He said he had some connection issues and the site is now up again! He apparently has a working version of Linux running on his HP 680 HPC. If anybody wants to help this guy get Linux running on other SH3 devices, then go download his readme and Linux files, and program away!

I can't speak for anybody else, but, I want Linux for my Jornada 548, because their are way more games and applications for Linux, than their is for Windows CE. Their is a Linux port for ARM and MIPS, so why can't their be one for SH3? I don't have the cash to buy a new PPC, so Linux for SH3 is a good alternative. Especially when this guy figures out how to dual boot WinCE and Linux.

This guy says that he has only tried this version of Linux on his Jornada 680 HPC. He says that it might run on other SH3 devices, but in his disclaimer, he says that it could blow up other devices, or in other ways destroy them. My question to you experienced developers (Simon Jacobs, Dan East, Phantom, etc.) is, is this true?
I wan't to try this Linux port on my Jornada 548 PPC, but will it destroy or damage it?
