I evened it out a bit :D I really don't think you can even compare these games, they are in complete different genres and Argentum only has a demo out as of now...

two great games, two genres

Postby ingallsj » May 1, 2002 @ 3:01am

Good point, each of them is the best in each of their respective genres. You picked a bad pair to compare ("Hey, I'm a poet and I don't even know it" -Jamie Otis) ROB.

You guys are missing the point. First of all, I said which one will be the best eventually. You know, like the top 10 pc games of all times. Many are from different genres, but they are still chossen, so, which on of these two, if any do you think will be remembered the most for it's achievements in the ppc field. So, to start you off, which many of you seem to need some help starting, you can compare music, graphics, sound, challanges, comparison to other games of it's genre, amusment/fun factor, replayability, ect. all of the catagories that each one get's judged on. So, do you think either of these games will be remembered as the doom of the ppc?

When you put it that way, then it's gotta be Snails,. Though Argentum has some amazing graphics, it's just another RTS game. Snails, however, took a somewhat old idea (Worms for you slow people out there) and put a new twist on it, creating (a)A great game and (b)One of the only games with single device 2 player support!!! Though Argentum is great and deserves to be on the Top 10 list, Snails is just a tad bit higher on the innovation scale. However, I still think that muffins are the best choice

lol. the Muffins will definately outlast all of them. They may get stale, but they still taste great. Double duty as a door stop or weapon, too.
