NYIll, I've seen all of these movies we've talked about. I thought Spiderman would bomb out completely. I mean it's a very rare thing when something with THAT MUCH HYPE can actually fulfill people's expectations. Maybe it's because I had no expectations that I thought, after seeing it, that it was a great movie. To me it more than fulfilled it's task of entertaining me for 2 and a half hours. It was even worth waiting in line for an hour before hand, to me. And I thought it would be terrible! Now, those pop culture movies like American Pie and shit like Jay and Bob I had no expectations for either. A guy at college had them playing and I sat down and watched them. I can say that they sucked major ass. They weren't funny at all, but because of the reasons Paul so clearly stated, we are forced into thinking that they are good movies. Fart jokes never were funny, even in the fourth grade! And sexual or homosexual jokes are purely offensive no matter who you are.

My point, Spiderman good, teen pop cultur flix bad.

Now I do think that Episode II will suck major ass and bomb out, just like I thought Spiderman would. Maybe with that kind of mindset I enjoy a mediocre movie more because it meets and surpasses my personal expectations for the movies. Who knows, but I know what I like and I know that Paul will probably love Spiderman. It just feels like Paul IS Spiderman when I finished watching it. It was entertaining and stayed true to the comics for the most part.

Ill just say this one more time, since people don't seem to read the post they are replying to. I did not say it had to be some emotional movie with a deeper meaning for it to be good. I said its bad even for what it was! It was BORING! There was little to no action and 90% of the movie was peter parker yapping and no action with spider man. People feel asleep behind me. So Randall please read what I say before spouting about how we are Jedi knights or some shit. Also Paul and Randall might actually wanna SEE the movie before they get on here and comment on it. To me your point its totally mute if you have not even seen the damn thing.

the only thing that couldve saved this movie was action and cgi, cause the dialouge was so cheesy.

Ya, this obese woman beside me fell asleep 5 times, her "date" kept poking her to keep her awake. Her lard was flowing into my seat, too, she was really annoying!

I thought it had plenty of action, I wasn't craving any more. The story wasn't about Spiderman, it was about Peter Parker and that's why it was interesting, that's why i thought it was good. Because it wasn't another pure action cliche' lame-o super hero movie. It was FUN, it was EXCITING, getting to see Peter discover his abilities, getting to see him struggle with human and teen problems like guardians dying, school trouble, girl problems. The whole enchalada. It was a FUN, EXCITING, Pop corn flick! I don't want to go into detail for fear of spoiling it for Paul, but it was a good, quality movie.

Oh, and NYIll, you obviously didn't read randall's whole post so quit being a hypocrite.

yeah I especially liked the end when he kills green goblin, then goes to his funeral and the green goblins son says he is going to get his revenge on spiderman.

I hate movies. They all suck. Give me a good ol' fashion book.

Davinci, your artwork sucks. My kids draw shit better than that. Hell I NEVER had inabilities and lack of skill like that, even when I was 5 years old.

Now then, don't make me bitch slap you around, because I know I have technique in ball-point pen that will slap your piddly little pencil/chalk drawings around any day. It took me about 40 minutes to draw a sketch of my daughter in ballpoint, with her laying on my right arm. I am right handed so I drew it with my left.

Care to see it as proof? Or do you see how ridiculous your statements are yet?

your right randall, your god. pfft. My statements are as valid as yours and just like people are entitled to argue that it was a good movie, I am entitled to argue it was bad. So until you see the movie, SHUT YOUR TRAP!

your the only one who takes everything so personal. You did not make the spiderman movie, and I dont have to likie it. So if you dont care why do you get so pissed at my opinion. Its my opinion and over here in America we are allowed to express it. Also call my drawing whatever you wish, all I know is someone likes them cause Im making money off them with a book and got a job offer from hallmark. Ill try not to lose any sleep over what some comic book nerd who has problems talking to women thinks.
