Work W/ Jornada?

Work W/ Jornada?

Postby Lawfull » Feb 21, 2002 @ 9:56pm

I have the game (Quake0062_ARM) installed correctly with the Jornada 568 (64mb RAM, StrongARM, etc.) Demo and shell and sound :( show up nicely, but I cannot navagate the menu items to start the game. I think it is because the game was created for use with iPAQ? iPaq and Jornada buttons are diffrent. None of the Jornada buttons work with this game, but the limited screen nav works...

Has anyone had any luck playing Quake I with the Jornada 567 or 568? If so, any advise would be greatly appriciated...

Use the action button to active menu options, such as "New Game." The action button is used when the rolly button on the left of the device is depressed or pushed directly into the device, not rolled.

Thanks for replying.

However, as I mentioned I am using a Jornada not an iPAQ. No roller scroll buttons on the left just an up and down button on left side. Trust me, I have pushed every botton on this machine to scroll or start a new game without sucess.

Can watch Demo and click screen with stylus to see menu but cannot scroll through menu or select itme in menu with any of my buttons.

There is life after the iPAQ. Has anyone had any sucess playing this game with the new Jornada 560 series StrongARM processor????

A patch or update for Jornada hardware would be appriciated, Thanks.

Yes, the up and down wheel on the left side is what I'm talking about. Push it in, don't roll it just put it in.

Or you could try the button underneath the directional pad, it should have a horizontal line on it.

You might try pressing BOTH directional buttons. Does this do it?
