yeah but most german people were in on it. mayne not the grand scheme of things but a lot of them denounced their neighbours and even family members to the gestapo.

then theres the hitler youth and stuff.

funny, there was agood joke on 'have i got news for you' last night. for you americans, its a game with two teams of two and they're given pictures of the weeks news events and have to say what it is but really they just make jokes about them.

this week a german plane was flying tours over london to remember the blitz or something! so they said how after the war the germans werent allowed an army in case they lost it again and it went like this:

germans: please, can vee have some planes?!
brits: NO!
germans: please? just one little plane? we've changed, really!!
brits: oh... alright then!
germans: muhaahhaah! now to attack london! die englisch swines! DIE!!!!

something like that. it was a lot funnier on tv...

I understood that some of you didnt get the point of my post. Sorry for that, maybe you will when you read it again.
Dont get me wrong, the holocaust was horrible. We watched a film about the concentration camps at school two weeks ago and there was not one person in class who was not shocked.
Things get less shocking when being told over and over. This is a bad example, I know, but imagine you had to watch a horror movie over and over, for 10 years, every day. The first times you would be shocked, but then you know what happened, you thought about it. You realized how evil, how disgusting and bad it was. You thought long and good about it. When you watch it again it does not seem that shocking anymore.
When I am told what the Nazis did, I react like I do because I spent a good, long time thinking about it. I honestly dont think most of you did.
To make that clear, I am not a Nazi. My father wasnt a Nazi, my mother wasnt a Nazi. I dont know about my grandparents though.
In my opinion it is worse to pretend to be caring than caring little. Sorry.
